Installation:

If doing a Umod Installation it Should all install itself automatically.                                                                                                      

If your doing a Manual installation the files go to the folders below.

Excalibur - Transforming Air Superiority fighter:

 

The Excalibur is the fastest Plane equipped with a afterburner its speed is unmatched.

Abilities also include the ability to transform to robot to do combat on the ground.

In Robot Mode it has a laser rifle, rockets and plasma shield. And with a push of the lastweapon Button (B  by default) it can do a Power slide.

 

The Excalibur’s Afterburner uses fuel its Wings fold and you only have 60 seconds of after burn speed. Also the more damage the plane takes the faster the fuel is used.

 

The Excalibur also has 2 Bonuses:

1.    The Phoenix – This Weapon fires a Fiery Phoenix that hits with the destructive force of a nuclear weapon. But you need 100 Adrenaline to use this weapon.

2.    The Ion Cannon – If you have Full Health, Full Shields and U – Damage and then get into a Excalibur the Excalibur will be Equipped with a Ion cannon that can also be used in Robot Mode.

 

Pilot Controls all weapons Passenger just sits around.

 

Controls:

 

Fire : Controls Fighter Launch and weapon Firing.

 

Alt Fire : Controls Afterburner on and off.

 

Use : Controls Getting in and out of Fighter.                                   ( E  by default)

 

Last Weapon : Fires Chaff anti missile lock counter measures.  ( B  by default)

                        And does power slide in robot mode.

 

Scroll Wheel : Changes Weapon Type.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Phantom - Stealth fighter / Bomber:

Not as fast as the Excalibur but it makes up for it with a Stealth invisibility cloak making it practically undetectable.

Equipped with Missiles and laser cannons the Phantom can handle itself in the skies.

But the Phantoms real power is in the passenger seat where the Bombardier can drop powerful bombs on targets as well as tactical Nuclear missiles to devastate the enemy.

 

Cloak lasts for 1 minute at a time.

Nuke can only be launched every 3 minutes.

 

  Controls:

 

Fire : Controls Fighter Launch and weapon Firing.

 

Alt Fire : Controls Alt fire weapon.

 

Use : Controls Getting in and out of Fighter.                                   ( E  by default)

 

Last Weapon : Fires Chaff anti missile lock counter measures.  ( B  by default)

                       

Scroll Wheel : Changes Weapon Type.

 

 

 

 

 

Predator - 2 Man Attack Helicopter:

Faster and more maneuverable than the Raptor, the Predator is Great for Ground Support of Players on the Ground, and with 2  People in it can make it a Highly formidable opponent.

 

The Predator can carry 2 passengers the 1st passenger controls Vulcan mini gun, the second passenger is just a passenger. 

 

The Pilot controls duel cannons, rockets and Missiles.

The Predator also has Chaff counter measures to ward off heat seekers.

 

  Controls:

 

Fire : Weapon Firing.

 

Alt Fire : Controls weapon type switching.

 

Use : Controls Getting in and out of Helicopter.                              ( E  by default)

 

Last Weapon : Fires Chaff anti missile lock counter measures.  ( B  by default)

                       

 

 

 

 

 

Reaper - Stealth Attack Helicopter:

New to the Line up is a Helicopter similar to the Phantom. The Reaper has the ability to cloak itself as well but you have to make sure not to give yourself away by getting to close to objects where the dust gets stirred up by the blades.

 

Faster and more maneuverable than the Raptor, the Reaper is Great for Ground Support of Players on the Ground, and with the ability to use stealth it can get closer to pummel enemies or pick up a player.  Also the Reaper can Deploy a rope from the bottom when the rope touches a player on the ground the player is attached to it which is great for picking up players in tight situations.

All the Reaper’s weapons are inside the helicopter and come out of the helicopter when needed

 to make the helicopter more streamlined.

 

The Reaper can carry 1 passenger in the Helicopter and another with the rope deployed.

The Pilot controls cannon, rockets and Missiles and Cloak and Rope Deployment.

 

The Player attached to the Reaper’s rope can get off anytime by using crouch button. Also the Player attached to the rope can fire there own weapons.

 

Controls:

Use : Controls Getting in and out of Helicopter.                              ( E  by default)

 

Last Weapon : Deploys a rope to Pickup one additional player.  ( B  by default)

                       

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Drop Ship -  Multi Personel Carrier:

The new Drop Ship can carry 8 Passengers to and from the battlefield. Not heavily armed the Drop Ship can fire rockets for suppression of enemies. The Drop ship is slow but heavily armored and can withstand a beating.

Also the Drop Ship can carry more then passengers it is equipped with a Magnetic lift device to transport ground based vehicles. So when you need to bring more then troops to a strategic point you can also bring a vehicle along with them.

 

The Pilot has the ability to drop off the passengers and any vehicle attached to it.

To Pick up a vehicle just lower the drop ship and align the tail above the vehicle and it will attach to the rear of the Drop Ship.

The Drop ship can Steal other team vehicles as well and make it their own teams vehicle.

The Drop Ship can’t carry flying vehicles only ground based ones like tanks or like the Scorpion or Hellbender.

 

The Drop Ship also has Chaff counter measures to ward off heat seekers.

Falcon, UT Space Fighter and Skarj Fighter - Light Tactical Fighters:

These Light fighter types serve there purpose as light tacticle support fighters. Air to Air support mostly but can also be used to knock out enemy targets on the ground as well. All are armed with laser cannons and heat seeking missiles.

They also have Chaff counter measures.

 

The Falcon can also use its afterburner. The Falcon Afterburner uses fuel and you only have 60 seconds of after burn speed. Also the more damage the plane takes the faster the fuel is used.

 

 

Controls:

 

Fire : Controls Fighter Launch and weapon Firing.

 

Alt Fire : Alt Fire : Controls Afterburner on and off.

 

Use : Controls Getting in and out of Fighter.                                      ( E  by default)

Turrets and Auto Missile Turret :

 

The Laser Turret is a Manned Plasma Turret. Just set team Number.

 

 

 

The Missile Turret is a Automatic Turret that seeks Planes to shoot down. Just place in Map and set team number.

Also Set bseeker to true if you want the Missile to track targets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fighter Teleporter and Vehicle PlayerStart :

 

The Fighter Teleporter works just like a Player teleporter  but it can teleport fighters only.

 

Just use 2 fighter teleporters  and the tag and url work the same as a regular teleporter.

 

 

 

The VehiclePlayerStart spawns both player and vehicle class it is assigned. Then puts the player in the spawned vehicle.

 

 

 

ONS and VCTF Vehicle Factories :

 

ONS and VCTF Factories Work the same. Choose a Factory put it in map and select its team in the Properties.

 

 

 

 

Avril MK II and Auto Bomber Rifle - New Player Weapons :

 

The Avril MK II, is better suited for taking down planes by holding its lock on the target vehicle.

 

The Phantom Auto Bomber, is a Much Higher powered version of the ONS Auto Bomber. Its carpet bombing runs

Pummel everything in there path. And as a Bonus feature if the Player has 100 Adrenaline the Bomber will launch

 a tactical nuke on the target incinerating everything.

 

The Phantom Auto Bomber Painter Automatically replaces ONS Painter when Mutator is loaded.

 

 

 

Fighter / Vehicle Spawn Rifles :

 

The Fighter Spawn Rifle can spawn fighter class and a vehicle class both are set in the mutator and defaults are Excalibur and Predator.

 

Fire Button spawns Fighter Class.

 

Alt Fire Button Spawns Vehicle class.

 

 

 

AirPower Mutator Description and Use :

 

 

1.    All Game Types Translocator – If Checked Player will get a Trans Launcher in any game Type.

2.    Start With Fighter Spawn Rifle – If Checked all Players (except Bots) will start with a Fighter Spawn Rifle.

3.    Choose Vehicle Type to be Replaced – This will replace the vehicle chosen with Vehicle Type Replacement – chosen vehicle.

4.    Same as above number 3 for a secondary vehicle to Replace.

5.    Spawn Rifle Fighter Class – Select the fighter for the fire button of the Spawn rifle to create.

6.    Spawn Rifle Vehicle Class – Select the Vehicle for the Alt fire button of the Spawn rifle to create.

7.    Fighter Pitch Speed – Changes how fast the fighter moves up and down. Higher number is faster, Default is 1.5.

8.    Fighter Roll Speed – Changes how fast the fighter Rolls left and right. Higher number is faster, Default is 16.0.

9.    Fighter Turn Speed – Changes how fast the fighter Turns left and right. Higher number is faster, Default is 1.0.

 

When Done Press ok to save changes to APVerIV.Ini file.

APVerIV.ini can also be changed directly by opening the APVerIV.ini in a text editor like notepad. Just go to your UT2004 install folder then UT2004\System.

 

NOTE: A added feature is the Fighters become less responsive with the more damage they take the harder it is to Steer and the Fighters Speed Fluctuates.

 

Summon Commands :

 

To Summon Vehicles and New Weapons Press the  Tilde  ~  button to bring up the command window.

 

Excalibur –         summon APVerIV.Excalibur

 

Phantom –         summon APVerIV.Phantom

 

Predator –          summon APVerIV.Predator

 

Reaper –             summon APVerIV.Reaper
